1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in 3 x 1 strips
2 T. oil
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 c. chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
16 oz. can of tomatoes
2 large green bell peppers, chopped
1/2 c. cold water
1 T. cornstarch
cooked noodles or rice

Directions:
Brown beef in oil in skillet, transfer to slow cooker. Add next 7 ingredients. Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours. Add tomatoes and peppers; cook 1 hour more. Combine the cold water and cornstarch, stir into liquid in slow cooker, cook on high till thickened. Serve over cooked noodles or rice.
