Bacon wrapped Water Chestnuts Recipe

1 lb Bacon
2 1/2 cans Whole water chestnuts

2 cups Ketchup
1 cup sugar

Cut Bacon into thirds
Drain Water Chestnuts
Wrap bacon around chestnuts and stick with toothpick and put on cookie sheet or broiler pan
Bake @ 300 until bacon is crisp about 2 1/2 hours
Stir ketchup and sugar put in microwave
Foil a cookie sheet
Dip water chestnuts in sauce set on cookie sheet
bake 1 hour @ 275, redip several times during cooking process.
