2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup crushed pineapple
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Beat sugar, shortening, egg and vanilla until creamy. Mix wet and dry ingredients and add pineapple.

Drop cookie dough on greased baking sheets. Mix nutmeg and sugar and sprinkle on top of cookies. Bake at 375º F for 12 minutes.
