1 1/2 cups pinto beans
3 beets, cut in julienne strips
2 carrots
2 celery
1 onion
sausage (kielbasa or other similar type), cut in pieces
cabbage, shredded
1 tin tomatoes (the big size tin)
salt
1/2 and 1/2 cream (or sour cream)

Directions:
Directions:
Soak beans. Cook and drain.

Cover beets, carrots, celery and onion with water and cook until tender.

Add beans to vegetables in liquid.
Add sausage, cabbage, tomatoes.
Add salt and cream to taste.
