4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 - 1 oz. squares of baking chocolate
1/2 lb. margarine (2 sticks)
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
chopped nuts (optional)
1 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs very well. Add sugar gradually. Melt baking chocolate and margarine over hot (not boiling) water. Cool and add to egg mixture. Beat well. Sift or mix flour and baking powder. Add vanilla to flour mixture. Mix everything together. Pour into greased baking tin and scatter remaining chips and nuts over top. Bake for about 20 minutes.

Do not over bake. These will keep for ages. As soon as taken from oven, mark in squares. Cool completely, then freeze for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove individually from pan. Place into air tight cans and store in freezer. Makes 36 to 42 brownies in 9 x 13 inch pan.
