¾ c coarsely ground walnuts
¾ c finely crushed graham crackers
3 T melted butter

Filling:
4 – 8 oz pkgs cream cheese, room temperature
4 eggs
1 ¼ c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Require 9-10 inch springform pan.

For Crust: Combine walnuts, graham cracker crumbs & butter. Press compactly onto bottom of pan.

For Filling: Beat cream cheese in large bowl with electric mixer until smooth. Add eggs, sugar, lemon juice, & vanilla & beat thoroughly. Spoon over crust.

Set pan on baking sheet to catch any drips. Bake 9 inch cake about 45 min. or 10 inch cake about 35 – 40 min. (Cake will rise slightly & crack in several areas; it will settle again, cracks will minimize & topping will cover it up). Remove from oven & cool 15 min.

For Topping: Combine all ingredients. When cake has cooled slightly, spoon topping over cake. Return to oven for 5 min. Let cool and place in refrigerator for at least 24 hours or preferably 2 – 3 days.
