2 cups Raisins
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup butter, soften
1 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 ½ teaspoon vanilla
2 ½ cups oatmeal
1 cup flour
1 ½ cup chopped nuts
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt

Grease 9 x 13 pan. In microwave pan combine the first 3 ingredients. Cook until mixture begins to bubble. Cool slightly. Set aside.
Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add remaining dry ingredients; blend until crumbly. Reserve 2 cups. Press remaining mixture into pan. Spread raisin mixture. Sprinkle or dot with remaining oat mixture. Pat lightly. Bake 25 to 30 min. Oven 375 degrees. Cool completely. Makes 4 dozen 1 x 2 inch bars.
May be doubled.
