Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This was how mom (Rosie Henderson) got us to eat raisins. We all loved these cookies as kids and they were “good” for us. I made this recipe until I found the recipe for Triple good bars, which has gobs more calories. Now I make the crumb mixture and use it with apricot jam/ peach jam/ or homemade apricot or peach butter for the filling. I love the apricot filling. The crumb mixture can be use for a quick cobbler. One can of cherry pie filling in an 8x8 pan, sprinkle cinnamon on cherries and use enough crumb mixture to cover the top. Bake. Crumb mixture may be stored in a air tight container in the refrigerator or froze.
