1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. crisco
1 egg - beaten
1 c. sour mik or buttermilk
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
3 cups cubed rhubarb

Cut up rhubarb into small pieces. (it's better if they are of like size)
Grease a 9"x13" pan. Preheat the oven to 350º. Cream sugar and crisco as usual for cakes. Blend in egg and milk. Fold in the remaining ingredients. Last fold in the rhubarb. Pour into the cake pan. Sprinkle 1/3 c. sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon on top. Bake for 40 -45 minutes. Serve with whip cream.
