1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c, flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar

2 Tbs. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter until creamy. Add eggs one at a time. Combine dry ingredients and slowly add to creamed mixture. Chill dough.

Combine sugar and cinnamon. Roll dough into 1" balls. Roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 400º for 10-12 minutes.
