1 box frozen peas
1/3 c sour cream
2-3 green onions with tops
1 T bacon bits
salt to taste

Defrost peas under running water. Add remaining ingredients and let sit for several hours refrigerated to marinate. Grated cheese and/or red pimento may be added for color.

MEMORIES FROM MICHAEL DON GEIGER: Growing up we always had pets of some sort! One of our favorites was a duck named Dumpy. Dad hated that duck because their was always duck poo in the yard! We would have to clean the yard up weekly for the poo before Dad could mow the yard. Almost always we missed some and Dad always managed to hit it with the mower and the smell.....OH...you can imagine!!!!
