1/3 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
1/3 cup boiling water
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, and egg yolks beaten lightly. Add water to cook in a double boiler until thickened. Remove from heat. Add vanilla.

Serve hot or cold. Good on pound cake.
