1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1/2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese (Kraft sharp cracker barrel is good), grated
Pinch of baking powder
1 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. red pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Let butter and cheese come to room temperature. Mix all ingredients together by hand. Force through cookie press, using star cutter, and cut into long ropes (or roll by hand into a rope if no cookie press). Place onto cookie sheet and bake 8 to 10 minutes. Break into pieces when cool.
