1 c. oil,
1 c. brown sugar,
1 c. buttermilk,
1 c. sugar,
2 1/2 c.flour,
2 eggs,
1 tsp. each of salt, nutmeg, soda, cinnamon and vanilla.
Stir in 1 1/2 c. coconuts and 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans.

Bake at 350º for 15-20 minutes in a sheet cake pan.

Cream Cheese Frosting

1 stick butter,
8 oz. cream cheese,
2 tsp. vanilla,
1 box powdered sugar,
1/2 c. chopped pecans.
