2 heads Bibb lettuce
2 medium red onions, thinly sliced
1 (11 oz.) can Mandarin oranges, drained

Dressing:
1/2 cup salad oil
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. sweet basil
1/4 tsp. sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Place salad oil and remaining dressing ingredients in a small jar. Cover tightly and shake until well blended. May be refrigerates up to 2 weeks.

Wash lettuce and drain well. To serve, tear lettuce into bite-size pieces. Add onion rings and oranges. Pour on dressing; toss to coat well.
