1 lb. ground beef
1 15-oz. can dark kidney beans, undrained
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
1 onion, chopped
4 tomatoes, chopped
2 avocados, chopped
1 head lettuce, chopped
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1 large bottle Thousand Island dressing
1 large bag Dorito chips, crushed
Hot sauce to taste (or salsa)
Whole corn chips

Directions:
Brown ground beef, add kidney beans and taco seasoning. When cool, mix with remaining ingredients and refrigerate overnight. Serve over lettuce leaves and garnish with avocado slices and whole corn chips. If made without lettuce, this may be served warm. Adding the corn chips just before serving makes salad crunchy.
