3 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. fennel seeds
1 tsp. dried crushed red pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 cup whole almonds
1 tbsp. water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º
Line baking sheet with foil or spray with Pam.
Combine sugar, seeds, pepper & salt in medium bowl. Mix in almonds and water.
Bake until sugar melts - @ 22 minutes.
Stir often. When sugar melts separate with fork.

Store in airtight container.

I usually make three times this recipe, as the time put into making only one cup of almonds isn't worth it. BUT 3 cups is perfect. I received this recipe from good friend, Betty Goodin.
