2 T. Olive Oil
1 tsp. Sugar
2 T. White Wine Vinegar
1 tsp. Dijon Mustard
1 T. snipped Chives
⅛ tsp. Pepper
2 tsp. snipped fresh Basil
1 Mason Jar

Combine all ingredients in a mason jar. Cover and shake well. Chill until ready to serve.

This is a salad that is good topped with this vinaigrette: In a small amount of water, cook some pepper rings until tender and drain. Place some spinach on a platter and top with tomato wedges and pepper rings. Sprinkle with gorgonzola, feta, or goat cheese and pour the vinaigrette over the top.
