FOR CRUST
2 sticks of softened butter
2 cups plain flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
FOR FILLING
4 eggs slightly beaten
6 tbsp of real lemon juice about two lemons worth
1 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 cups sugar

Directions:

For crust, mix ingredients and press into a 11x13x2 inch pyrex dish and bake at 325บ for 15 minutes. Let it cool.

For filling: combine ingredients and use mixer to blend. Pour onto cooled crust and bake for about 45 minutes at 325

The Robinson family has been important to the Burton family for almost 50 years. Ike and Ann Robinson were originally from Enid, Oklahoma and this recipe came from Ike's mom. I have NEVER made these without someone asking for the recipe. Ann Robinson was an especially talented cook and we never turned down an invitation to dine at their house.
