1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2. tsp. nutmeg
1/2. tsp. salt
1 c. rolled oats
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. seedless raisins
1/2 c. chopped nut meats

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt; mix with rolled oats. Gradually add sugar to shortening, creaming until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Mix in raisins and nut meats. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheet. Bake in 375º oven 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 45.
