2 c. sugar
3/4 lb. butter
1 c. water
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits
ground nut meats

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, butter and water in an iron skillet to about 308º or until mixture separates and pulls away from sides of skillet. Stir constantly during the entire cooking period.

Pour on a slab or a large cookie sheet as thin as possible. Allow it to cool.

Melt one pkg. of semi-sweet chocolate bits and spread fairly thin on brittle and sprinkle with ground nut meats. Place wax paper on top and turn over and spread other side. After chocolate has hardened, hit candy with knife handle to break.
