6 lb. tart apples
6 c. apple juice (cider)
3 c. sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Core and quarter unpeeled apples. Combine with cider and cook until soft (30 minutes). Poor through food mill, boil for 30 minutes. Add sugar and spices. Heat until sugar dissolves, boil gently, stirring frequently until proper consistency. Ladle into hot jars. Leave 1/2 inch head space. Adjust lid and process in boiling hot water for 10 minutes.
