22 Ritz crackers, crushed
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine egg whites, baking powder and salt; beat until soft peaks will hold their shapes. Add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff. Fold in nuts, crackers, and vanilla. Pour into a greased pie pan. Bake at 325 º for 30 minutes. Cool and top with Cool Whip.
Note: This pie will fall after it is removed from oven. This is normal.
