3 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1 c. butter
4 eggs
6 TBSP sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla
8 - 9 c. flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt

Lemon Icing
2 c powdered sugar
1/2 tsp lemon extract
1 TBSP melted butter
Milk to make desired consistency

Anise Icing
2 c powdered sugar
1/4 tsp anise oil
1 TBSP melted butter
Milk to make desired consistency
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Add cream and flavorings. Add flour with soda and salt and mix well. Add flour one cup at a time until dough becomes stiff. All of the flour may not be used. Chill. Roll out dough to 1/4 inch and cut out. Bake 375º for 6- 9 minutes
