2 cans green beans
6 slices bacon
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1/2 cup cold water
1 TBSP cider vinegar
1 TBSP cornstarch
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp salt
dash black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon to paper towels. Leave 1 TBSP drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon and set aside. In remaining drippings cook onion until tender. In a bowl combine water and vinegar and stir in cornstarch. Add liquid to skillet with sugar, salt and pepper. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add drained green beans, stirring to coat with the sauce. Heat thoroughly and top with bacon.
