1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. shortening
1 pkg yeast
1/2 c warm water
1 tsp sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
5 c. bread flour
1/4 c. butter melted

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl place boiling water and shortening, stirring to melt shortening. Let stand 30 until completely cooled.
Stir yeast, 1/2 c. warm water and 1 tsp sugar in a small bowl and let stand a few minutes.
Beat eggs and add sugar and salt. Add shortening and yeast mixture together. Gradually add 5 cups of flour until blended.
COVER AND CHILL DOUGH 12 HOURS - 5 DAYS.
Turn dough onto floured surface and roll to 1/4 " thickness. Cut into 2 1/2" rounds, crease center and fold in half gently pressing edges together. Place on lightly greased baking sheets.
Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 1/2 hours. Bake at 400º for about 15 minutes.
