2# ground beef
2 medium onions, chopped (1 cup)
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2-16 oz cans diced tomatoes (chili style)
1 small can (4 oz) diced jalapeno chiles
1 can beer
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp cornmeal
1 can kidney beans

Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat, onions and garlic.

Add tomatoes, chili powder, salt, jalapeņos, oregano, beer.

Bring to a boil, simmer 1 hour or longer, if you have time. Add kidney beans.

Serve with cheddar cheese and sour cream.

Goes great with corn muffins or cornbread.

Best served the next day..
