1 cup sugar
juice of large orange

1 c sugar
1/2 c butter
1 c sour milk
2 eggs
2 c flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 c raisens (could omit)
Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1 c sugar and juice of lg orange. Let set while you make cake.

Mix all ingredients and pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 350º till light brown and springy.

Once cool cover with Glaze

This was my great Grandma Couthards recipe and there was not a temp or bake time on the recipe, so be sure to watch it when baking!
