2 lb ground walnuts
1 cup white sugar
2 cups brown sugar
1 whole egg
1/2 c canned milk (usually use about 3/4 of can) - make spreadable consistency

Dough
2 cups softened vanilla ice cream
4 cups flour
1 lb butter

Directions:
Directions:
Filling: Mix all ingredients together, adding canned milk a little at a time to desired spreading consistency. Set aside.

Dough: Mix flour and butter together well. Add ice cream. Use dough hook if you have one. Knead about 5 minutes. Add more flour if dough is too sticky to touch. Refrigerate several hours.

Divide dough into about 3 sections. Sprinkle 1/2 flour 1/2 sugar down before rolling. Roll about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 2 x 2 squares. Spread nut filling on each piece, down the middle. Take sides of dough and wrap over nut filling.

Baste with egg white and water; sprinkle with sugar on top

Bake 350º 12-15 minutes, or till lightly brown.
