3/4 c Butter Flavor Crisco
1 1/4 c firmly packed light brown sugar
2 T milk (if needed)
1 T vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 c flour
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp baking soda
1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c large pecan pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine in a large bowl Crisco, brown sugar and vanilla. Beat egg into creamed mixture. Combine flour, salt, soda in a separate bowl and add to creamed mixture until just blended. Stir in chips and pecans. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough three inches apart on ungreased shiny baking sheet. Bake @ 375 for 8-10 minutes. Cool on baking sheet 2 minutes. Remove to cooling rack.

If dough is too thick & dry, add up to 2 T milk. I use a food scoop to measure cookie dough for uniform cookies.
