1 cup butter
1 cup confectioners sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 1/2 cup flour

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.
Whip butter until fluffy. Sift dry ingredients and blend into butter. Beat low for 1 minute, high three to four minutes. Drop by spoonfuls about 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.

Let the cookies rest on the cookie sheet for about five minutes before you put them on the cooling rack. They need to firm up a bit as they cool.
