1 cup Crisco
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar, vanilla and eggs till light and fluffy. Add the rest of the ingredients. Chill 2-3 hours or overnight. Roll out thin on a well floured surface. Cut into shapes. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 350-375 degrees for 7-9 minutes. Cool on rack.
