2 - 2½ pounds ground sirlion
1 chopped large onion
1 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon olive oil -or- butter
15-ounce can young green peas, drained
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
2 pounds mashed potatoes

Brown beef and drain, side aside. Sweat onions in olive oil or butter, add to cooked ground beef. Brown flour with 2 tablespoons butter, add beef stock and cook until a light gravy forms. Add Worcestershire sauce to gravy. Grease a 9x12 baking dish and add ground beef mixture. Lay the green peas evenly over the ground beef. Pour the gravy* over top of the peas and beef. Let cool. Carefully add the mashed potatoes evenly over the entire dish. Preheat oven to 350º, Cook for 35-40 minutes or until the meat begin to bubble around the edges.

*You may have to make a double or triple batch of gravy to add to dish. My family likes a lot of gravy.
