1 box of Nabisco graham cracker crumbs or
2 packs of graham crackers crushed well;
1 stick of butter, melted
2 large blocks of cream cheese (8 oz each)
1 c sugar
4 eggs
2 cans cherry pie filling (Comstock)

Bottom Layer:
Melt butter, add sugar and melted butter to graham cracker crumbs. Mix well. Pat mixture on bottom of pan.

Filling:
Bring cream cheese to room temperature and beat until smooth. Beat in 1 c of sugar gradually. Add eggs one at a time, beating hard after each addition. Beat until very smooth. Pour over crumbs and bake 25 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Spoon pie filling over top and chill. Top with real whipped cream when ready to serve.
