1 pkg (3 oz) strawberry gelatin;
1 pkg (10 oz) sliced frozen strawberries, thawed;
1 Tbsp sugar;
Pinch of salt;
1/2 pt Cool Whip
1/2 (10 in) Angel food cake torn into pieces.
Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve gelatin in 1-1/4 c boiling water. Stir in thawed strawberries, sugar and salt. Cool until mixture begins to thicken. Fold in Cool Whip©. Cover bottom of a 9" deep pan with half of the angel food cake pieces. Pour half of the strawberry mixture over the cake; repeat layers.
Refrigerate 4-5 hours. Cut into squares. Garnish with additional Cool Whip.
