BOTTOM LAYER:
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 stick butter
1 c. of flour or 1 c. crushed graham crackers

2nd LAYER:
8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. cool whip

3rd LAYER:
2 packages chocolate instant pudding
3 c. milk
1 T. vanilla

4th LAYER:
1 c. cool whip (or whatever remains in container)
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Make this dessert in layers, mixing the ingredients from each layer together well. Put bottom layer, then 2nd layer in a rectangular glass dish and refrigerate until chilled (about half an hour). Then add 3rd layer and refrigerate until chilled. Top with 4th layer and chill for another few hours (or until the next day). Store uneaten portions in refrigerator.
