6 cups water
1 smoked whitefish, de-boned, cut into 4 pieces
1/2 cup salt pork, cut into small pieces
1 small onion
2 small potatoes cut into small pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Boil these together until cooked. Add ½ cup milk and bring to a boil. Stir in ½ cup cold water . Add ¼ - ½ cup flour, enough to bring mixture to your desired thickness for soup.

Serve with freshly cooked bannock.
