1 1/4 c. sugar
6t tsp cornstarch
2 cups water
3 egg yolks
1//2 cup lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp lemon flavoring 3 Tbls. butter, melted
1 tsp. vinegar
Directions:
Directions:
Mix in a double boiler the sugar and cornstarch. Add water. Combine egg yolks and lemon juice
Beat well and add to mixture. Cook until thick (about 25 minutes)
Add lemon flavoring, butter and vinegar
Stir well and pour into a 9 inch baked pie shell. Let cool and cover with meringue and brown.
