3 cans green beans, juice and all
2/3 C. ketchup
2/3 C. brown sugar
1 medium onion, chopped
6 slices bacon, lightly fried and drained (leave 2T. of grease)

Combine all ingredients in saucepan and simmer for a few hours, or you can put in crock pot on high for 4 hours on high or low for all day.

This is a recipe that Gladys Fite in our church has fixed for many funeral dinners. I think you all have eaten them here for dinners. They are yummy!!
I just cook them on low for a long time. You could even put them in the oven for several hours at 300.
