1 can evaporated milk
1 can water (from empty milk can)
1/3 c flour
½ c sugar
¼ c vinegar
3 cups chopped Jonathan apples
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, combine milk, water, sugar, and flour. Cook over low-medium heat until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat and add vinegar. Pour custard over chopped apples. Stir in pecans. Can be served warm or chilled.
