16 oz sour cherries
3 eggs
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Drain cherries thoroughly and place them in the bottom of an unbaked pie shell. Scald milk. Beat the eggs and add to the scalded milk. Mix flour and sugar. Combine with milk and eggs and beat well. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture into the pie pan with the cherries. Bake at 400º for 35 - 40 minutes or until custard is set in center.
