Ingredients:
3/4 cup unsalted butter at room temp
2 large egg yolks
3/4 sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tsp grated lemon zest

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add yolks, vanilla, and salt. Beat to combine. Gradually add flour, mixing until just incorporated.
Divide dough in half and shape into 1 1/4 inch diameter logs. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes. Can be wrapped and frozen at this point for up to 3 months.
Heat oven to 350º.
Slice logs into 3/8 inch thick slices and space them 1 1/2 inches apart on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake until lightly golden- about 16-20 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes on baking sheet and then transfer to cooling racks.
In a small bowl combine confectioners sugar, lemon juice and zest until it forms a thick but pourable glaze.
Dip top of each cookie into glaze and let set about 15 minutes.
