Ingredients:
Ingredients:
9 x 13-inch cake (prepared white cake or angel food),
1 small pkg any flavor gelatin,
2/3 cup boiling water,
1/2 cup cold water,
1 small pkg instant vanilla pudding,
1 cup cold milk,
1 carton whipped topping,
1 orange or 1/2 pint fresh berries (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Using a meat skewer or handle of knife poke holes all over the cooled cake. Holes should be about 1 inch from each other and from the edges.
Dissolve gelatin in the boiling cup of water. Mix in 1/2 cup cold water and then slowly drizzle over the cake, allowing it to soak in. Pour all the gelatin into the holes.

Prepare the instant pudding using the cup of cold milk. Fold the whipped topping into the pudding until mixed through. Spread this mix over the cake and chill for at least a half hour.

Optional garnish - slice orange into half slices and stick flat edge into whipped topping/pudding mix, or place one fresh berry, on each serving.

Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Personal Notes:
This is a super summer treat. I've not tried it using an angel food cake in the 9 x 13-inch pan but I found it in a "Pampered Chef" cookbook. It says to bake until it's not sticky to the touch.
