6 ½ c rolled oats
1 ¾ c whole wheat pastry flour
1 ¼ t baking soda

½ c honey
8T - 10T butter
½ c turbinado sugar
1 ½ t vanilla extract
1 ½ c chocolate chips, dried fruit, or combintion
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, butter, honey, and vanilla.
Add eggs and mix.
Mix flour, oats, and baking soda. Add the mix-ins (chocolate chips or what have you) to the dry ingredients.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
Press into a large pan (I use a 9 x 13).
Cook at 325 for 20-22 minutes.
Cut after cooled.

I make this recipe every week-- it's that good. I make them in my Kitchenaid stand mixer-- they'd require a lot of elbow grease to do by hand! These are great breakfast or snack bars. Very filling and so, so yummy. They freeze fabulously.
