4Tb oil
Flour
Water
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Garlic & Onion powder to taste
1 Small chopped onion (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef in oil and remove from pan and set aside.
Bring the temp of the oil up and add the flour a little at a time until it is the consistency of pudding.
Brown the flour until it is almost burned and then begin pouring water in until the "roux" is a little bit thinner than you want your gravy to be. Allow the gravy to boil. (Add more water as needed) Place beef back in the gravy and allow to slow boil until the beef is fork tender. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
