1 lb. lasagna noodles
2 1/2 cups ground beef
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 envelope dehydrated minced onion
1 tsp. seasoned salt
black pepper to taste
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 small can (6 oz) tomato paste
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 lb. cottage cheese
1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, sliced thin
1/2 lb. mild cheddar cheese, sliced thin
(parmesan)

Cook lasagna noodles in boiling salted water according to package directions until tender. Brown ground beef; add garlic, onion, seasoned salt, black pepper, tomato sauce, tomato paste and brown sugar; cook until heated through and slightly thickened. Using a greased 13x9 baking pan, layer the ingredients in this order: Half of cooked noodles, scant half of meat sauce, half of each type of sliced cheese. Then layer the remaining half of noodles, remaining meat sauce and remaining cheese slices. Heat at 350º until cheese is melted and lightly browned on top.
