4 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
6 Tbsp. powdered milk
6 Tbsp. Crisco
water

Directions:
Mix together dry ingredients then cut in Crisco & mix until consistency of cornmeal. Gradually add water (and keep mixing until dough forms. Knead dough about 10 minutes. Cover and put in dark area at room temperature for about 1 hour. Melt additional Crisco in big, deep cast iron skillet until there is at least 3" of melted Crisco, hot & ready to go. Divide dough into portion sizes and flatten out to form into rounds. If making big pieces, be sure to put a hole in the middle. Fry on both sides until golden. Put honey or jam or 10X sugar on top - YUMMY!
