1 16-oz package phyllo pastry dough
1 lb nuts, chopped
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup honey

Directions:
Directions:
Toss nuts with cinnamon. Unroll phyllo (found in your grocery store's frozen-foods section), cut stack in half, and cover with damp cloth. Place two sheets in buttered (13x9-inch pan and butter dough thoroughly. Repeat, layering 8 sheets. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons nut mixture on top. Top with two sheets of dough, butter, nuts; continue layering. Layer 6-8 buttered sheets on top. Cut into 4 rows, then cut across diagonally. Bake at 350º for 50 minutes until gold and crisp. Prepare sauce by boiling water and sugar until sugar is melted. Add vanilla and honey. Simmer for 20 minutes. Remove baklava from oven and spoon sauce over it immediately. Store uncovered or freeze
