2 cans pumpkin puree
1 can sweetened condensed milk, preferably Carnation brand
2 tsp cardamom powder OR 10 cardamoms, crushed
2 tbsp unsalted butter/ghee (Clarified butter- easy to find in any Indian/Pakistani store)
Handful of sultanas (golden raisins) OR raisins
A couple of pinches salt
A couple of drops of vanilla extract

Heat butter/ghee in a medium pot, and sauté cardamom and raisins for 30 seconds.

Add pumpkin puree and mix well, add salt. Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract; cook for 7-8 minutes, stir constantly. Serve!

(Pumpkin Halva is an Indian dessert served warm but you can also serve it cold)

Use canned pumpkin; this is the secret of this recipe in order for you to make it in 10 minutes. I use a can that says 100% pumpkin without any additives.
