Ingredients: 1 chocolate cake mix
1 white cake mix
yellow, red and green liquid food coloring
white frosting
2 round cake pans
large red candle
box of small birthday candles
red heart shaped candies

Directions: |
Directions:Mix and bake chocolate cake mix according to directions (in two round pans). Cool and flip out both. Wrap 1 layer and freeze for later use.
Mix white cake according to directions. Divide batter in half. Put several drops of red food coloring in one half and mix to desired shade. Pour in one round cake pan. In the other half of batter, drop in green food coloring and mix. Put in other cake pan. Bake and cool. Stack first chocolate layer, frost with white frosting, next red layer, frost and last green layer. Frost whole cake with the white frosting. Decorate.
Cake is round because Jesus was born into a world that is round.
1st layer...brown for our sins
2nd layer...red for Jesus' blood shed for our sins
3rd layer...green for our new life
Frosting is white...Jesus' purity and righteousness
Gold star in middle of cake top...star of Bethlehem that led the wise men to Jesus
Big red candle in the middle of the star is Jesus
Border of hearts around the cake sides...represents each one of us standing as witnesses for Jesus around the world |

Notes: Light the big red candle then read the Christmas story. Light each persons small candles-our of Jesus' candle and carefully stick in cake. SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JESUS!
